Lean Management has been a success formula in the automotive and industrial production areas for over 40 years. Especially in times of economic downturns Lean Management has proven to be a powerful tool to gain back profitability and better quality. Traditionally these optimisation processes used to be seen almost only on the shop floor. The administrational areas were considered to be untouchable and hardly ever included in cost saving or optimisation projects.
